As the weather is getting warmer, it's time to enjoy some light and fruity beverages on the porch. Here are some basic recipes to loosely follow.Feel free to play with your ratios of fruit flavors to taste. Other fruits can be substituted as well. Fruit may also be substituted for a tablespoon of frozen juice concentrate if fresh fruits are not available. Enjoy!
Raspberry Mint Iced Tea
4 large tea bags (Black, but any tea would work)
6 cups water
Raspberries
Sprig of Mint
1. Boil your water and tea bags according to the directions on the tea box.
2. Muddle raspberries and mint in the bottom of a glass.
3. Fill Glass with ice.
4. Pour tea into glass and enjoy. Top with mint leaves if desired.
Lemon Ginger and Mint Spritzer
1 can of lemon Spindrift or other seltzer water.
Sprig of mint
Zested ginger
Lemon Slices
Muddle your zested ginger and mint in the bottom of your glass. Pour your sparkling water over the top. Garnish with mint and a lemon slice.Enjoy!
