With Holiday's comes lots of desserts but we don't have to brake the bank on the added sugar without giving up the sweet indulgent that we crave over the Holiday's. These Delicious pumpkin bars are simple and fluffy and will give you all the feel goods without over doing it on added sugars!
Ingredients:
1/3 cup honey or pure maple syrup
1/2 c Almond Butter
1/2 c pumpkin puree
2 eggs
2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
*Optional Toppings: Dollop of fresh whip cream and sprinkle of pecans
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350° F. Place all the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and whisk until fully combined.
Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour your batter into then pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick poked into the center comes out clean(ish).
Let cool completely. Slice into almond butter pumpkin bars and serve!
Cut into 9 bars: 1 serving= 8 grams of added sugar
